I am having a problem with the key lock cylinder actuator/bar arm not activating the ingition switch. I can start the pick up with a screw driver when I bypass the actuator/bar arm. I it is not pushing the bar arm far enough forward to activate the ignition switch. I also can not take the vehichle out of park when I unlock the steering collum are these problems conected to each other. I have the steering wheel removed and the actuator/bar arm appear to be two seperate peices how would I begin to remove them to replace the broken part and is this a common problem.
Thanks in advance
Colt

I think my problem is a ignition actuator which sitts above the ignition lock assembly and is pushed forward by a gear. Any one ever take one out?
