A few days ago, I woke up to find that someone had knocked my motorcycle on the street. I was pissed, but basically sat it up again and left. Well, 3 days later I try to start my bike and it won't turn over. The FI light is on. This is really a problem as I'm currently trying to sell my bike and obviously need to have it running. Since it was knocked over for probably 5 hours or so, I figure gravity worked it's magic to make some fluids (oil or gas) to go somewhere they shouldn't have. Can anyone help? |

I just gave my mechanic a call... He said most likely the cylinders were full of fuel, to remove my spark plugs and try to start it (so that it would throw out the fuel) then to replace them and try to start it again. I'm going to try to take a crack at this, unfortunately I don't have any tools. Hopefully my roommates do. |
Perhaps that was well-deserved, but I just moved in about a week ago. I have tools at home, just not up here at school. ETA: I do have one of those six-in-one screwdriver things and a full set of Allen wrenches. |
