My job looks like its going to end soon. Parent company not doing well may go under. I'm too old to start at the bottom and work my way back up. I want to buy a turn key business and finish out my life doing that.

I found one and I'm finishing my due diligence, but the credit market is impossible! Financing this operation is turning out to be a nightmare. Banks want 30% down and I'm short $160K

FWIW the business is solid with good assets and cash flow.

Did you look into SBA Loans?  Is seller financing a possibility?

Unless you're opening a gun business and buy a dealer membership.

Looking at SBA currently but damn...The hoops are crazy. Traditional bank financing is much more likely.

More testing the water to gauge if a crowd funding campaign is even worth putting together.

Basically the business is a motel/RV place that caters to fisherman and hunters................
