I have no idea how to down load a photo from my computer into the reply box here at ar15. Please help me.

You have to post it to a photo server host then put the url between these symbols in your reply.

first it must be hosted somewhere on the net.

first you must have an account for photo hosting. something like hunt101 or the ar15.com photo server <paid membership>
once you pic is hosted you will get a URL to link for posting it here and at other sites.
