How come a liberal's defense of Obama is always, "And Bush was better?" WTF? |

Because 99% of the people who voted for Obama voted for him simply because he is black, a rockstar and it was the cool thing to do. They have absolutely no idea what he is about or where he stands on any issues. They said the same thing during the election. Why are you voting for Obama? Cuz McCain is old/stupid/a continuation of Bush/no good/whatever else. Never anything about Obama, what is good about him, that they like his stance on this issue or that issue.

I liked where Howard Stern sent one of his goons into the streets asking people if they support various policies and positions of Obama, and everyone agreed, but the stances and policies were actually McCain's. Stupid sheeple that didn't pay attention voted 0bama in. They voted for him for a few simple reasons - he was not Bush, he looked good, he spoke well, and his bullshit sounded good. That's all they needed to know. It was the American Idol of politics. |
