I am totally confused.. yeah, we won with the Heller decision. Now DC is saying no semi-autos? WTF.... What I want to know is WHY do these fucking Cities, States, town councils get to do something unlawful, and don't have to pay the price? If you or I break the law.. what happens.. We get Charged, Jailed, and an opportunity to prove in court our innocence or guilt. So WHY does pulbic service get a free pass to create whatever law they fucking feel like, knowing it's unconstitutional, but they don't care. And it takes a lawsuit to tell them they can't do that.. after what 3 years in legal battles. And why is there not any monetary penalties? And I'm not talking about holding a CITY accountable. What good does a judgment against a city, council whatever do. The bill is paid by tax payers.. not fucking right. These Assclowns Daly, Bloomburg need to be held PERSONALLY Responsible and held liable IMHO. And now that Heller has been decided, why doesn't that automatically make Chicago, San Francisco, Cities, towns, etc. similar bans unlawful and void? WHY does it take sepeate lawsuits? Maybe I am just ignorant to the whole political process... |
No offense taken... and there are probably more than 2 dozen actually that is not the focus of this discussion... I want to know why cities and counties and states can pass laws that violate federal law, and nothing is done about it, and it requires a lawsuit to fix.... take heller out of the discussion for all that matters... Why doesn't the federal government "police" the cities and take care of shit when they violate federal law... it takes a lawsuit for that.. it doesn't require a lawsuit for you or I to get arrested for drunk driving... that is my question |
Should answer your question: www.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=1&f=5&t=726080 In short, Heller was not the end of our fight... it was the beginning. |
