What is the name for the logical fallacy where one jumps to a conclusion about a person just by one piece of information?

Example:  You watch my little pony so you are definitely a faggot.    (there's an MLP thread going and it was the first thing that came to mind, please don't make this a MLP thread)

Touche! But that isn't it. There's an actual name for it like red herring.

Hasty generalization is an actual name as well.  It just might not be the one you're looking for.

List of fallacies

Actually, now that I read this, hasty generalization seems to be exactly what you want.
"fallacy of insufficient statistics, fallacy of insufficient sample, fallacy of the lonely fact, leaping to a conclusion, hasty induction, secundum quid, converse accident) – basing a broad conclusion on a small sample."

Yeah I read the list and saw that one before opening up this thread.

That is definitely the one I'm looking for, but I feel like I remember there being an actual name for it like red herring. I could be mistaken of course. Thanks for the help!
