I have a crape myrtle busk in the corner by my house next to the driveway.  This thing is full of bees and it is impossible to get rid of it.  Wife hates it.  I had a guy come and grind the stump down 6 inches into the ground.  That was last year.  This year, its back.  It has about 10 little shoots about 1" to 1 1/2" diameter.  This thing is over head high and spreads out wide enough to cover the sidewalk between the house and the drive.

Is there anything I can buy without a special permit, that will kill this fucking thing?

Help!

Nuke it from orbit, it's the only way to be sure.

How big is the stump?  I usually drill holes in the stump, soak it in mineral oil  or naptha for a few days, top it off with gasoline and light it on fire.

Ground steralizer killed a tree of mine that wanted to come back after it was cut down. Of coures there is a giant bare spot that won't grow grass right now.

2-4-d should do it as it is a broad leaf plant.

Pour a gallon of chlorine bleach around the stump.  It won't survive that.

Cut down with chain saw. Drill holes in stump. Pour round up heavy brush and ivy killer concentrate in the holes without diluting. Add more round up in a couple days if it sucks it all down. I did this for three huge ones and did not have a single sprout!

Yea. My husband accidentally killed all the bushes around our water system by leaving a (unbeknownst to him) leaky bleach bottle there.  There was no coming back from that...
