I need 36's - they fit fine under there- cept i like levis- not the "bullet proof" stiff, blue wranglers

30's will fit...sort of.
How wide? Stock rims? Watch the off-set on after market rims and if you stay at, or under 10" wide on an 8" (7.5" maybe I think for stock) wheel, you should be good to go. www.michiganjeepers.com Site is down right now. Should be up by Tuesday. |

no, 33, yes, in that order.
The above apply to a standard wrangler, not necessarily an 'x'. Avoid the headache...buy a CJ7, coil-spring it all the way around, swap in a T18, a pair of dana 60's (or portal axles!), rebuild that 304.....oh, sorry, I was daydreaming again.....

i had 30 x 9.5s on my '92 wrangler with no lift and no problems

Yes, I have 31s on my stock rims & have done no lifting at all & it rides just fine.

I run 30x9.5 on my Wrangler Sport, zero problems. With the TJ line (1997+), you'll be fine. A YJ would rub though. You can go up to 31" on the TJs. |
