Hello everybody:

I know a gentleman who just got his VERY FIRST AR, and he realy would like to know the best way to break in his bore. He bought either a brand new Colt's Match HBAR or Competition HBAR and he realy would like to use it in a competition shooting one of these days.

Could you gentlemen provide some instructions in order to help this person to "break in" his bore properly? Or maybe provide an internet addres that will help him in this topic?

I understand that COlt's no longer chrome lined their bores anymore, so I assume the breaking method is different for those bores with chrome lining? How many rounds should be fired? Any particular brand/s of ammunition he should choose?
