Ok, so my Girlfriends kids were using her laptop yesterday. (Sony Vaio VGN-NR220E).  She went to use it today and the touchpad did not work at all.  Wasn't even recognized in the device hardware.  Well, I messed around with it (reinstalled drivers and such) and got it working.  Now the keyboard doesn't work at all once windows starts.  I'm certain it's not a hardware issue, because when I restart the computer I can get into the BIOS.  I am, however kind of lost on how to proceed/fix the problem.

Suggestions?

ETA: Nevermind, got it fixed. Just uninstalled the drivers I installed rebooted and let windows refind and reinstall the default drivers and now both of them work fine.
