i go to amazon and look up CD's by the artist, then i make a folder with that album's name, and put a text file with the track list in it, then as i collect the songs i can put them into the album folder

It's not free, but it is cool. www.emusic.com for $10 a month you can have unlimited downloads of single tracks or complete albums. I think it is worth the cash because all the songs are good quality and you get what you want. Just my 2 cents...

I use Musicmatch. It organizes, plays, writes CDs... You can hit "now playing" and it looks up the album for you. You can make it change your wallpaper to the album cover that is playing. Don't need much else.
