I was deleting some files the other day and I think I removed somethin that I shouldnt have,now my Dell XTP550 will start up and when it gets to the screen saver it auto shuts down,I have not Icons visible when it changes screens to the windows is now shutting down.What the Hell did I do and can it be fixed.Thnxs

Goto Desktop, Right-click on the backround(not and icons) goto Properties then Screen Saver then click "Power Options" and look around, you might find a check box or drop down box with "Shut Down" selected.

Which OS?

If you're running XP go to the boot menu and select "Start with last known good... " unless you deleted a system file and it shouldn't have let you do that.
