Folks, Anyone have any experience with this stuff? Where can I get it and what's it called? Application: I bought a bi-pod from Springfield for my M1A. After 2 months on backorder this piece of chinese CRAP shows up, Fit, Finish and Function like only Dr Frankenstein would feel adequate. So for $109.00 back it goes. I can buy a chinese piece o shit for 1/2 that price from Cheaper then Dirt. I want to dip the clamp jaws and the tips of the legs to keep it from marring the wood and metal. Any thoughts. Thanks ww |
| I bought some a few years back from Home Depot. Dipped all my small hand tools in it. It has come off some of them and stayed on others. Just make sure anything you plan to dip is totally clean with no grease or oil on it. Even oil from your hands is bad. I suggest roughing up the surface with sand paper first to get the stuff to stick better. Good luck. |
