I'm 26, unemployed, in school, living on grants, and loans.

I am still on my parent's insurance until the end of April.

I am prepared to go without insurance until I find a job.

What options do I have?

What's your income?

If you just want catastrophic coverage and don't want to deal with obummercare, you could get a short term policy with something like a 10,000 out of pocket maxiumum for about $35 / month, assuming you're in good health.

You could consider a discount product in lieu of regular coverage.

Not expensive and might have 24 tele-doc associated with it.

I'm in insurance and sell a great one available in PA. I'm on my phone and didn't look where you are before posting.

PSA: discount programs are NOT insurance.

Most universities have a free campus health center and really, really cheap health insurance for students.  Have you checked into that?
