Just curious.  I've been on the planet for several decades and have never been polled.  With polls on everything under the sun, you would figure you would get polled once in awhile.  I tend to think that polls are completely meaningless; or worse, an attempt to shape public opinion.

At the grocery store once, there was a woman taking a poll about the war in Iraq. I told her I was all for it. She looked shocked that I actually said it.

Last year I got a call at home from a pollster.  While she assured me that they weren't selling anything, I was getting ready to hold forth with all kinds of politically incorrect opinions on any number of topics.

She wanted to know if I was planning to go see some Harry Potter movie.
