Interesting buddy movie starring Christian Bale. He plays an ex-ranger who saw a lot of action in Afghanistan. He gets out and comes home to LA. He's white but hangs out with chicano goons. He smokes dope and commits crimes, but he's applying to the LAPD. He's also an aggressive psychopath with a really bad temper, which apparently makes the government interested in making him an advisor down in Columbia.
