Thursday evening I picked up my new H&R Ultra SS1 in .22WMR. Its a beautiful little cheap plinker/ small varmint rifle, laminated wood and a decent blue job.

Now its time to scope it. I'm not looking for anything super expensive as I only paid $124 for the rifle (NIB). I am putting serious considderation into a 4-12AO Bushnell Sportview or one of the new Tasco Varmint/Predator riflescopes in the same configuration.

Anyone got any advice on what optics would be suitable for this rifle or feedback on the Bushnell and Tascos I mentioned above?
