I will be doing something for halloween, got the 'classroom' all decorated up, wearing some pumpkin hat, black clothes and a halloween pumpkin necklace of sorts.  Wife asked the various students and parents if its ok to give away a halloween treats bag, will be doing that too.  So tomorrow will be interesting none the less.  I have to carve a quick jack o lantern face into the pumpkin we bought and display it.

Pull your pants up, tuck your shirt in, comb your hair, wear some leather shoes instead of gangsta high tops, .........  They won't know you.

Absolutely not.  I would never ever dress up at work.  So are you supposed to be GI Joe?  Does everyone like your costume?  Did you get your candy?

But in all honesty, sounds like a great costume.

The wife went as Pocahontas (not slutty Pocahontas, though).  She's Chippewa, but I don't think the others in her office will notice.

Yeah, I wore ACUs to work today. But then, I dress up like a soldier most days to come sit in an office.

No, that's silly, we're a professional consultant firm.  We try to look professional.  But when I worked at the state office that oversees what the company I now work for does, half of them dressed up.  Bunch of fuckin weirdos up there, I tell you what.

ETA:  Wow, that came across as pretty damned condescending, didn't it?  The guys at my office (well, all but one of them) including myself just aren't really the dress-up types.  The one, well, he'd probably surprise us all

This is the first Halloween (or closest work day) in several years that I haven't come in costume.

Old pic...

(I'm the one on the right.
)

I usually drive in with the top down and the head of the costume extends up above the windshield –– you should see the faces/expressions on the kids in cars next to me along the way.

Agreed. God forbid adults do something a little fun occasionally. We have to be super serial all the time!

Sometimes I put on an old band shirt and dress like a metal head....most people don't notice I'm dressed up however....

This year I'm training so I will dress up like a super motivated leader of Marines.

I hope they buy it.
