Just got my new tower hooked up and I cant figure out how to see how much memory Im using up? Seems like on win98 you just right clicked on my comp, then properties but that doesnt work on XP.

Thanks RIP, says im using 50% now(256ram total). Lets see what happens when I disable system restore....

System restore is a life saver. I would not disable it if I were you. Are you sure you are looking at the right spec? The only things listed in percent are page file and cpu usage.

well I can also see physical memory, kernal memery and some other stuff that Im oblivious to. I think the physical memory is what I wanted to look at. It says I have a total 253,424 and I have 134,508 free.
