No.. Not the "What kind of rifle...." question.

Just watched the tail end of the movie and I have a question... How did Val Kilmer know where Charlize Theron was staying? You know the part where the cops have her in that apartment... havent seen the movie in forever and they were showing it on ENCORE tonight.

Did the Jon Voigt character tell him?  He seems to know everything.

She called him and told him. Remember Sgt Drucker telling Vince that "she will make the call?"  Well, that was the call.

It wasn't Cherlize Theron. It was Ashley Judd.

+1

She called him after they threatened her with an accessory charge and sending her kids to the state.

As I remember, the estimate for the heist was 10 to 12 million. They left the bank with 4 black bags each containing roughly an equal amount of money. Using the lower estimate of 10 million, and having one of the black bags in his car, 2.5 million seemed lke a reasonable guess.
