Starting in 10 minutes on TNT |

Quoted: Quoted: Quoted: Quoted: Got TNT ready, but I'm about to pass out. Hang tight, Danny Glover is about to be killed by Mark Wahlberg... I was hoping that would happen. Just one lib taking shots at another. For all the crap that is in the movie Shooter, I think it was still pretty pro-gun... |

Quoted: I've never actually watched the movie. Is it going to be good enough to warrant turning off The Great Escape? -V Yes. In fact, you are forbidden to post on these forums until you have finished watching the movie...7 years and havent seen it? What the fuck is the world coming to... |

Heat is good, but not as good as some of you guys make it out to be.
The shootout(s) are epic, sure, but the movie as a whole suffers from the same problems that plague other Michael Mann films. Too much needless plot and character development in proportion to the amount of action. Miami Vice, Public Enemies, Heat, they all suffer from it. Collateral was good though. There is a fine line between mindless action and a balanced action/character arc type of story, and Heat is a little heavy on the boring stuff. Nevertheless, I will always have a copy in my library because of the drive in shootout and bank robbery shootout scenes. |
