I was wondering if there is any law that limits the amount of guns you can purchase in a month or year, I'm from PA Allegheny County near Pittsburgh.(go Steelers, Pirates, Penguins).

I'm looking to purchase two handguns this month and maybea rifle depending on how much I have in my bank account.

I'm not aware of any federal laws (although buying a LOT, say ten of the same gun, not two, might get you a polite visit from the BATFE to make sure you're not engaged in straw purchases for others) - but there's nothing to limit the number of firearms to my knowledge.

There could be local or state laws that might regulate it - you might want to check the Legal forum and your hometown forum.

(Either way, I couldn't IMAGINE that buying two handguns and a rifle is a problem).

BATF requires a dealer to report the purchase of 2 or more handguns within a week by the same individual.  Other than that there are no federal regs.

Buy freely!
Aside from the afore mentioned caveats, PA residents with no criminal background may buy as many firearms (non Class III) as they wish, whenever they wish, with no more than a PA Driver's License .
And you better do it now, before our esteemed Governor "Big Ed" gets any of the restrictions passed which he would so dearly love to see happen.  Like limits on handgun purchases, etc...

I personally would wait a couple of weeks between handgun purcahses, because if you buy them at the same time, you look like a straw purchaser / someone who's just looking to re-sell them on the street.
