Yeah, the one who wrote "Ender's Game"

Good read.  He gets it.

The Democrats have generally received that column with contempt and ridicule.  They're following Dean hell or high water.

Ender's Game is seriously anti-military.  At the end you are made to feel sorry for the poor bugs because they got wiped out because the military should have known they didn't mean any harm after trying to wipe out the human race twice.  Boo f!cking hoo.

Reading the article, it appears that Orson has grown up quite a bit over the years since he wrote Enders Game.  He does understand that the Democratic party of old is dead, and if the current anti-war socialists are elected, we have big big problems.

My eldest son is a serious Orson Scott Card fan, so I printed out the article for him.  He liked it so much, he used it for a speech that he had to give in English class.

Interesting read.  I know several guys that know him well and describe him as a "militant Mormon and a hard-core survivalist."  He isn't your typical Democrat, so I'm afraid his good points will be lost by most Republicans since he's a Democrat and by most Democrats since he's definitely not like them.z

I,ve met and talked with Orson Scott Card, and I would say he is anything but anti-military.
