Hey guys, I am graduating this semester and my parents are looking for something to get me. They are looking to spend in the $1000 range, but if it goes over I can pay the difference.

Ideas I've had include:

Macbook Pro
Kimber TLE/RL II
AAC M4-2000

Would like some ideas on other possible items.

Thanks

Suppressor or maybe a digital camera. Canon T1i or T2i? Maybe a SBR lower.

Did your parents pay for school? If that's the case, maybe you should be buying them a gift.

If you did, ask that they forgo a gift and put the money towards paying back loans. I used my ACR fund to pay off the remaining balance and was glad I did. Debt free six months after graduating.

What career are you entering?

I've paid for my entire education, they didn't give me a cent, now my sister, they forked over 60k for her.

As for profession, most likely military/leo. If not, grad school/academia.

See what road you go down. If you go to grad school, get a macbook. If military/LEO, spend the money on boots/gear you will need that they won't provide. Maybe a pistol class.
