This guy has been living at my ma's for about a week now. I took some shots with her camera, but it sucked, so I had to bring mine over to get it. I love his coloring, I've got a few more of him that I'll put up after I shrink them. I hate walking into their webs, but spiders are great for photos. Legs and all he's about the size of a half dollar.
"The cayote is a living, breating allegory of Want. He is always hungry. He is always poor, out of luck and friendless. The meanest creatures despise him and even the flea would desert him for a velocipede." Mark Twain - Roughing It

One of those living at a friend's place I've been watching for a few weeks. It's been getting fatter and fatter and I never see the dang thing move....Must be osmosis in action. The one I've been seeing is about 3" toe to toe...big sucker
