Norton found this AFTER THE FACT. What does this one do? It's quarantined, how do I get rid of it permanently?

If the anti-virus program help in your computer doesn't have the information go to the Norton website, I believe it is symantec.com. They have technical support.

Thanks guys. It was in my Temporary Internet Files. I deleted them, as I hadn't in awhile. I ran another scan and the virus doesn't show up. Does this necessarily mean it's gone? Norton said it couldn't repair the file. Don't know why, will have to check your links. Great direct link wyomissing. Thanks[:)]

For what its worth, I use Norton Antivirus 2001 AND Moosoft's The Cleaner. I do a complete file scan once a week using both programs. Both have worked for me so far but then again I never open exe or com files unless I'm sure of the origin. The highest rated anti-viral software is Norton. "Editors Choice" by PC Magazine. URL to follow.
