Anyone use Google Wave ...

My wife may need to start using it, but neither of us knows anything about it.

Any tips / input / info on what it is and where to get it would be helpful.

TIA.

With my limited amount of experience with it, it seems kinda stupid.

It could be revolutionary, but it's too complicated and not user-friendly.  It will die.

Google is already planning on killing it.

This.  Not a bad idea but too many options for most folks.

I prefer Emerson's.

Neat idea, but lame/careless implementation. (ETA: They should have refined it more before releasing it. It's not even at beta, I think, closer to alpha. Neat, but presently useless.)

Overall, it's stupid. Could be great, but right now it's just stupid.

He's talking about the Emerson wave function on some Emerson knives...

It always struck me as a research tool more than anything else. real world practical use was about nil.
