Im an admin over there. Its a PvP server more geared towards factions and PvP.

We have an AR15 server, but no one plays there any more.

It might be cheaper for you to buy a server of your own and set one up. You can turn it into a learning experience on networking for him to see if he likes it.

I don't know much about the game, he wants to be able to host the game and have his friends play on it.

As others have stated, you can easily set it up on your home computer. That being said, it will require a decent computer, and a quick internet connection.

He wants it to be dedicated and not subject to our random internet outages.
