Can anyone recommend a good book devoted to flash photography?
Nothing too complex. I'm new to DSLR, but am going to get a separate flash (Canon Speedlite 430 EX II) and want to learn the basics. Thanks in advance.

Im currently reading Zach Arias' OneLight mini-book. Pretty good stuff on shooting with a single off-camera flash. Cant find on his website today where you can buy it but I think he got hacked today so Ill look again in the morning.

If you have not invested in the flash yet, pony up a few more bucks and get the big boy, the 580 EXII. More light when you need it to fill a room. It's really worth the extra coin once you become a strob user!

The Hotshoe Diaries is a must read. Joe shoots Nikon, but the creative idea is the same for all brands.
