Has anyone used the golden rod before? I am looking into it for my gun safe but I have never really heard much about it. Does it do everything is says it does?

Got one in my Sentry. Runs like a champ and keeps everything warm and dry. Not a speck of rust.

My basement is around 75% humidity during the summer. The Goldenrod keeps the humidity always 10-15% lower humidity in the safe.
