I placed an order with a site sponsor last Feb. There was some issues with shipping and I didn't receive it when they said that I would get it.(I think they forgot to put it on the truck) Any way they made it right.
Fast forward to today. I get home from the range and go check the mail, I have a notice for a package at the apt. office. I thought that was odd since I haven't ordered anything in awhile so I go pick it up. It is the same order I got back in Feb. So now I have a box with some pmags, armalight feild repair kit and some lube that I can't do anything with until the vendor gets back to me. I have IM'ed the sponsor and will be calling them on Monday to get it sorted out. Has this happened to anyone else? I am thinking about just having them bill me for it anyways. |

I bought an AR50 off of gunbroker a while back along with 20 rounds of Barrett ammo. when the rifle arrived at my dealer, the ammo was in the box with the rifle. not good. but then the next day there was another box at my door, with more ammo.
someone fucked up. my dealer was pissed that they shipped the ammo in the same box as the rifle, so I didnt say a thing and went out to shoot my free 20 rounds of .50. |

I've had it happen several times. Like the OP I'm an honest person so I contact the company and inform them of their mistake and ask them how they'd like to get their merchandise back. Or in the case of the Loopers belt, I called with my credit card number, I liked it so much I decided to keep, and of course pay for (damn, there's that honesty thing again) both belts. One company I bought some FAL mags sent me a double order, and when I told them they said "Just keep the extras, it's not worth the postage to send them back". I offered to split the difference with them, but they said no but also thanked me for being honest. |
