I saw it this morning. I tried to make it to the midnight show but things came up. I wont give anything away but it is truly hilarious. Real comedy. And it was really kid safe. I dont think i went more than a few minutes without laughing.

It was a very good movie. Lots of funny in it. Also quite a few guest appearances from the original series. And the classic cars get a quick once over too- Opel GT, Sunbeam Tiger and Karmin Ghia. Even an ARFCOM Icon gets his props in the movie.

It was funny but I think Zohan was a lot funnier.

Saw it yesterday.  There were some parts that were very good, but overall I wanted more; it supposed to be GET SMART; it's supposed to be Mel Brooks*; it was decent, but not great.

What arfcom icon was there, I think I spaced?

*Yes, I know he was in on this one.

It was an Honorable mention kind of thing...

"OK then! Would you believe......?"

(don't want to have any spoilers for those who haven't see it yet)

OBTW: I though it was pretty good compared to some of the trash that's been put out as movie entertainment and if I had to choose between this one and 'I Am Legend' to go into my DVD library I would have picked this one.

Uhm... that's an Adam Sandler movie. By its very nature it's not funnier than anything other than maybe a CSPAN coverage spot on senators discussing the spot price of paper.

Saw it Sunday afternoon with the whole family. Laughed through the whole thing. Everyone kept re-running lines from the movie on the way home.

"This building is surrounded by 140 snipers on rooftops."
"I find that hard to believe."
"How about two dozen special forces commandos?"
"I don't think so."
"Would you believe Chuck Norris with a BB gun?"

I was stuck in Orlando for an 8 hour layover yesterday and decided to go see a movie with the family.

Generally I only watch big movies in theaters, movies that benefit from the large screen, and comedies need not apply, but this is what the familty wanted.

I wasn't expecting much but I found myself really laughing hard, fully belly laugh quite often, and mostly a big smile through the rest of it (Though there were a couple flat spots and jokes that didn't quite work).

It was a very funny movie.

I cracked up during that part.

So did I, but it was one of the few nods to the original that had to take place. There was some stuff I found much funnier but any discussion would require the use of a "Spoiler" tag in the thread title.

I found that most of the nods to the original were rather lame. He said the right words but it just did not have the right feel. Its like he said it just to say it.

That was just the "Missed it by that much line" and I think it had to be intentional that his delivery sucked so much. He only did it twice and it was flat and stupid both times.

We just got back from it and I enjoyed it a lot.  We had some superfans in the theater with us hooting and hollering when 86 dawned The Suit and car.

I enjoyed it.  I could have done without the bit of discussion about rotten eggs and a reference to the female uterus but other than that it was a good one.

And yes, I LOL'd at the Chuck Norris reference.

I took the family to see it tonight and we all laughed our asses off.  I really enjoyed the nods to the original series...I loved that show as a kid.  Really funny movie.

I finally saw it tonight, and was very pleasantly surprised. I thought it would be "ok" like the show, but I really enjoyed it. I liked how Max and 99 actually shot people (I don't remember them doing that in the show). and Hathaway was so fucking hot. Some decent pause&toss as well.
There was a lot more laughs in it than I expected.

They also did awesome with who they got to play Jaime (not spoiling it); but I wished he was in it more.

I'll definitely have this dvd.

I've been waffling on whether or not to rent that, but that's only cuz I didn't know Hymie was in it; Definitely getting it now. Thanks.
