I just reinstalled GTA4 and the graphics are choppy and barely work. I have a new system I built, previously it had worked fine. I have Win 7 64 bit, Intel Core i7 950 processor, 6 GB ddr3 RAM, and a Geforce GTS 450 video card with 1GB DDR5 RAM.

I tried installing the new patch but can find nothing about where to install it, it does not install automatically.

I have never had a problem before with it till the upgraded system. Any ideas, please? Thanks.

Any processes running in the background eating up a lot of resources?

Have you updated the driver for the graphics card?

yes, it worked for a couple of minutes and then started screwing up the camera views.

And now it says to save a game that I have to log into Windows live and yet I am logged into Windows live, but the game does not recognize it.  Pissing me off!!!!

Uninstall the game, and then re install it.

That is a heavy CPU dependent game. That being said, it should be running well on your setup.

I agree with the reinstall.
