I have been asked to setup a central syslog server in my lab, for a few hundred hosts.  I would like the log files to be accessible through a GUI for the owner each host.  The syslog box will be running CentOS Linux.  I'm currently evaluating phpLogCon, and it looks like it'll do the job.  I like how it'll read plain text log files w/o having to setup a database.  Anyone else out there provide a similar service and use this or something else?  Any suggested alternatives?

Thanks.

P.S. Yes, I've hit Google.  I'm looking for recommendations.
