Is anyone else having issues with their handheld or car mounted GPS systems? I was going to take the kids geo-caching today, but I could not get my handled unit to lock onto the satellites. I then grabbed the one from my car to use and it is getting zero bars outside. What gives? Anyone else experiencing something similar today?

Some units take quite a while to align if you last used it a few hundred miles away from where you next turned it on. The newer units align much faster than the old ones. |
| The handheld is a Garmin Etrex Legend and the Mobile is a ROadmate 1200. Both are nothing fancy. I think the Legend may need a software update as it hasn't been used in a couple of years...If that doesn't work, a new one may be in the budget in the near future...Thanks for the reply's... |
