Anyone read this?

I just picked it up last night and will probably finish it tonight. It has me hooked right now, hope it keeps me that way through the end.

It's a series right? I have one of them on my Amazon wish list. Planned on reading his series after finishing The Patriots series and the Hold Their Own series. Oh, and the 299 Days series. All share similar topics.

Part two, Surviving home is good too.

Pretty good read. He gets a little over the top a couple of places explaining exactly what equipment he has (brand names, model numbers), but it was overall entertaining. Also, if you are a grammar nazi, just pass it by. Clearly had no professional editing of any kind before going to publication. I'm half way through Surviving Home, so I guess I wasn't bothered too badly.

I've been told that it's written at about the 6th grade level. Same can be said for Joe Nobody books as well, but if the plot is good who cares.

Just completed the second book, Surviving Home. It was not bad but the first book was better. There has to be a third book in the series coming, I will get that too when availalble.

i liked them both

I liked 'em and would recommend. Just ignore the magic bottomless backpack that has anything and everything.

Waiting for them to be on CD...

One of my favorites

If this book is your flavor, I highly recommend "299 days"

thoroughly enjoyed the first one. Starting second one now

It is a fun read and easy to keep up with. I am getting ready to read the 3rd book. Hope it is as good.

The third book was a total disappointment. It was short and had no action but was the worst about it was it just ended with no story development.

Just finished the third. It definitely did not blow my socks off. It feels like 1/2 of a book, truthfully. I am a huge fan of this series, but I think the publishers are trying to drag this out as long as possible. Not exactly a new phenomenon in the industry, but...

Going Home was pretty good with lots of action. His BOB must have weighed 500 #.No matter what the situation he always had the right tool/weapon.Surviving home wasn't quite as good.Looks like I'll skip the 3rd one.

I've been very happy with Nobody's books. 6th grade level - not sure, but don't really care. If I'm reading a SHTF book, it is for action and 'how would that play out' - if I want literature I'll read Clancy
