My wife and I are wanting to buy a wood canopy bed for our bedroom.  We went shopping at all the local furniture stores about a year ago and weren't excited about anything we saw.  Everything in the stores was too ornate for our taste.  We are looking to match the general style and finish of our mahogany Duncan Phyfe-style dresser and nightstand:

Our main concern is getting good quality wood and construction so that the bed will last a long time.

I figure there have to be some furniture makers or experts here on AR15.com.  Any input or ideas on where to find a bed would be welcome.  Thanks.
