And I'm not talking about the generic four-letter expletive, or even a curse that is immediately discernible as such. I like the curses that force someone to think - at least a little bit. My two favourites - "May you live in interesting times." (Chinese) "May you get everything you ever wanted." (French) Anybody else have any? FFZ |

DScott and Armalite - you guys ahve the right idea. I like those... The idea behind these is similar to the guiding principle behind diplomacy - "Diplomacy is the art of telling someone to go to Hell in such a way that they look forward to the trip." You see, anyone can cast insults. The height of the art comes when you insult someone, they have to think about it before they realise it's an insult, and THEN they are insulted again because they have to think about it! Let's keep them going, these can get fun... FFZ |

Alright, lemme try this again... Next time you pass my house I'll really appreciate it. Thank you. We're all refreshed and challenged by your unique point of view. I will always cherish the initial misconceptions I had about you. I like you. You remind me of when I was young and stupid. No one remembers losers. Have I met you before? Better? [;)] |
