This is how it starts... you shoot one and then someone comes along and goes "You know you can always buy one for yourself."

BTW...."You know you can always buy one for yourself."

The MP5 they had for sale was $10,000,he said he could get a Victor Uzi for about $3,000.Considering what I paid for the rental and ammo,I can see how it would get real expensive.

About $200-$250 for the rental and the ammo?  That is what I paid when I rented an Uzi [uzi].  Man I LOVED shooting that!!!!  I have made it a point not to shoot any more FA...I don't want to catch the bug...even though I already have the sniffles. [:(]

It came out to $125.00 for the rental,targets(2) and 150 rds.of 9mm.Definately worth it.I'm gonna try the XM177 and the Thompson next.BTW I had that gun smoking 150 rounds in @ 15 minutes.

Remember one thing- the rental guns are usually not fully transferable.  They're generally post samples, with a few pre-'86 DS in the mix.

Why shoot up and wear out a $10k gun when you can shoot up and wear out a $2k gun?

I go to a local range called Bull's eye that is located in Lawrenceville, Georgia.  They have an MP5, Colt 635, Thompson, Sten MKIV, Sterling, UZI, Mini UZI and a couple other sub guns that they rent.  Advantage here is that I only pay 10 dollars to rent a machine gun for the day.  Advanced Armament is located in the same building.  All the guns for rent are post samples that Kevin owns.  After going there for the past year I am looking to get my own M16.
