That's kinda cool. I wonder how the trigger on it is?

Doing some searching on the Photo I understand that this is most popular in France. Therefore I lean to FUDD.

and that is not in jest!

I don't have a problem with bullpup bolt guns for hunting.  Since all you really care about is one shot, working the bolt and ejection doesn't matter.  Only their sucky triggers are a problem.  Concept isn't bad.  Shorter is less likely to get hung up in brush.  JMHO.

My first thought to.  The design does not make practical sense.

How does it shoot?

I don't see the point––in fact I think a bullpup would be less practical for hunting than a traditional rifle––but I don't know the back story of this picture.  For all I know, it's an elaborate joke.

Anyway, owning any one gun does not make a shooter a Fudd.  Thinking that the Second Amendment only has something to do with hunting, and not caring about any gun restrictions that only affect other people, are what makes someone a Fudd.

He is pretty well-dressed for an American.  Based on the hat, I'm gonna guess German.

ETA: I just noticed the feathers in that hat.  It would go perfectly with a pair of lederhosen!

Picture is hosted on a French server: http://offres.numericable.fr/home.php

and the rifle he is holding is made by the French gunmaker GEX-Dumez S.A (it is the Crapahute)

So my guess he is a Frenchman.

A French gun?  Do you work the bolt with your tongue?

I wouldn't buy one... but I wouldn't turn down a free one

Would be nice if you don't have the space for a traditional rifle and I'd imagine a lot easier to carry around in the woods.

Hey he just wants to be tacticool like us. took a fellow AFRCOMMER varmint calling he has been to several pistol classes and gunsite for a rifle class so we set up and call in a coyote and as it gets about 75 yards away he hits the bolt release to send a round home and the coyote runs off into the brush. oh he had plenty of finger control and no chicken wing but he can't hunt for shit. later he forgot to release his safety and screwed the pooch again. so let us fudds have a tacticool bolt gun at least we will shoot it. OK i shoot a 20" flat top but at least I shoot it. and he calls me fudd all the time hell I have more simiautos than will fit in his safe and put more rounds down range than him so watch the fudd calling it hurts us diversified shooter/hunters feelings after alll we are only scared little bunny's.
