Both were good but Angel Heart was better.

Not sure, but I own the movie, it's a good one. I have Angle Heart too, but that one doesn't do much for me. Maybe I need to watch it again?

Nah, he was really doing God's work. The fact that all the video of his face was always jacked up is what really added the supernatural element into that movie.  

The scene in Angelheart where Louis is cracking the eggshell is one of my favorite scenes.

Frailty is on amazon for 2.99 rental, Angel heart is probably free somewhere it's so old.

Frailty:  Bill Paxon is a hillbilly who takes his kids on killing missions.  Tells them that they're doing God's work.  Gets busted.  At the end, they flash back to the crimes that had been committed by the people he had been killing:  pedophiles and such.  

Angelheart:  Micky Rourke makes a deal with the devil, then forgets he made it, then bones the shit outa Lisa Bonnet, then the devil reminds him.

The movie makes the point that he was doing God's work.  That there was a supernatural element after all.  Remember the security camera images at the end?

I would have preferred it if they had left it up to interpretation.  Still, helluva good movie.
