Is anyone able to get to foxnews.com.  I get redirected to Google.  Also, over the last several weeks I've been redirected to www.myfavoritesspaces.com.  I've tried to do an Internet search to see if there is an ongoing effort to hijack the site but I haven't come up with anything.

Do a search on "Google re-direct" virus/malware.

I still can't get to it.  The Google page that comes up is slightly different than the Google page I get if I go directly to Google.  I wonder hijack attempts can be regional.  There's definitely something going on.

I use a Mac and all the google searching I've done on the google redirect involves doing a google search and then be redirected away from google.  That's not the problem.  The problem is that I type www.foxnews.com and it goes to Google or the other website I mentioned.  When I searched for google redirect I did find some postings about possible issues with a foxnews advertiser which is infected and causes problems.  I believe, but could be wrong, that if that is the case then it's not an infection of my computer but simply a script running on their website.  Any IT techs on here?

foxnews.com seems to randomly throw an ad up now that you have to click to continue to the site.

This is typical of a specific type of malware/virus that takes over your web browser then eventually forces you to reformat the drive to fix it.
