So even if you haven't been panic buying, I bet almost everyone has reviewed their inventory.  Who has discovered things they forgot about?

This weekend I found 500rnds of 9mm WWB, and a 550rnd bulk pack of .22lr, and 5 15rnd p30 magazines I had forgot I owned.

So who found the machine gun they forgot they owned?

Found a box with 10 pmags and a couple glock mags I'd forgotten about. Miscounted both 9mm and .22, I have boxes I never recorded into my excel file of inventory.

I found nothing, but while replacing my mossberg I was making sure was clean, I knocked down my stash of .300 win mag and broke a shelf in my safe.

I need to store my ammo in another safe to keep my safe safe.

Go to your local surplus store, and buy some ammo cans.  Go to the office supply store, and buy a label maker.  Use them.



That being said.... I did find a brick of .22 that never found its way into the stacked, labeled ammo cans.

I found a bunch of USGI 20 and 30 rounders,I switched to all Pmags years ago.  Sold them on the EE here and turned them into almost 5000 rounds of IMI 5.56mm.

I found 2 Cabelas ammo cans with 750 rds of 308 each. It was 59 & 61 headstamped. I sold one for $545 & the other for $585 on gunbroker. I completely forgot that I had them. Took that money & bought lower build kits & an upper from PSA. Just finished putting them together tonight.

Yes. I found some things this past weekend. Odd. Seems like a lot of folks did what I did. I organized everything in ammo cans and labeled everything neatly. Everything was strewn about in different cabinets and safes (and closets). I'm in good shape now!

I didn't realize I had 4k rounds of cci stingers..thought I only had about 1k

I found 500rds of SSA 6.8SPC that I completely forgot about.  I sold my 6.8 upper a few years ago and thought I included all the ammo I had in my stash.  Traded it for 10 flats of #9 12ga.
