Democratic Gov. Gretchen Whitmer and Republican former Gov. Rick Snyder issued a joint statement Wednesday calling for national unity hours after protesters supporting President Donald Trump stormed the U.S. Capitol and had to be cleared by law enforcement.

"While we come from different backgrounds and political parties, Gov. Whitmer and I share a deep love for our country," Snyder said in the statement. "We must always remember that we are Americans first, and we are not one another's enemy."

Former Michigan Gov. Rick Snyder, top aide Rich Baird and former health director Nick Lyon have been told they will face criminal charges resulting from Flint's water crisis, according to a source with knowledge of the situation.


The guy is a total asshole, there is no making peace with demonrats.

The purge continues unabated.

The locals totally fucked up the administration and finances of the city.  

Sap Snyder appointed an emergency manager to straighten out the mess.  AFAIK the emergency management made the decisions that lead to lead from old pipes leaching into the water.

I used to bother to point that out. People brought him papers to sign and he wasn’t a water engineer, so everything was just signing off on funding and authority.

But he can go fuck himself. He lost all of his support and I no longer wish to correct people on Flint.

Likely to get millions more to waste on winter homes when Bidet gets in.
