I read a thread the other day about one on an SP89,  I knew this was not legal,  but I was told it was legal for a long gun to have one !   Please help me out with this question !

Handgun = illegal.
Long gun = legal.

OK this is what I thought but yesterday someone made a comment that made me think it was illegal....   TNX for the help !

from another thread, what about the dreaded "constructive intent" thing...say you have an AR with a vertical grip, and a pistol with a rail system?  Even though the grip is on the rifle, it *can* go on the pistol.  That's the kind of shit that makes me *very* nervous.
