My favorite bolt action rifle ever....

The Remington 700 VLS in .308...

Mine has a Redfield (a REAL one made in Colorado back in the day, not one of the more recent Japanese ones) 6-18x with rangefinding reticle.

Trigger (after adjustment) breaks like a glass rod...  much more accurate than me.  Best 5 shot group recently off sandbags is 1.76"...  at 300 yards (ASC 9/11/05).

Love that gun.

Feel free to share your .308 pics...

FR-8, a Spanish .308 built on a large ring Mauser action. Later, the forend was used on the Cetme. It's handy rifle. (Not mine, but identical.)
