If it can be any cut and prepared any way you like, which do you prefer?
Poll incoming. |
What, are you trying to make a dinner list or something??? Steak of course, chickens are nasty critters.
My wife the vegetable prefers tube steak when I pork her, but I'll go with steak.
Edited to inlude 4 out of 5. |
Dead cow, for sure!! Crustaceans are just sea rats. Chicken's OK, but only if you don't have any steak!
I'm expecting a dinner pic out of this thread.... |
I like all of those a lot. Impossible to choose one over the others.
I can't believe I left out the fish, good "catch" chuckhammer. |

Steak, No Blood. I don't want AIDS from a queer steer....
Me thinks this Poll is a forgone conclusion on this board. |
The perfect food as it covers all the 4 basic food groups. |
According to the Bible (Leviticus, I believe), eating shellfish is an abomination, of the same level as homosexual sodomy.
I vote steak |
I like them all! but my first choice is:
1. BEEF 2. SEAFOOD 3. PORK 4. CHICKEN I get tired of eating anything if I eat the same stuff too much, I always eat a variety |
Get them all.
For most times I prefer steak. Pork is fantastic! I love big boneless ribs and chops. Pork roast is also great. Chicken is OK, I can take it or leave it. Crab, lobster and mud bugs are also very, very good. |
I've been to 5 crab feasts this year, only ate a few crabs though. Mostly just drank beer!! |
Slow roasted bone in prime rib.
Here a tip for the MD and DC guys Michael's in Baltimore 6207 eastern ave 410-633-6485 Best friggen prime rib I have ever had on a regular basis. No just good everytime but OUTSTANDING everytime. Disclaimer: I havent been there in a 1.5 years. You can bet the next time I am in Balt I will stop. |

Seriously, cow all the way. I like pork/ham but it's not something I could eat everyday. Poultry (I'll include turkey with chicken) is a distant 3rd. Fish is a very distant 4th (mostly tuna salad sammich or Mrs Pauls fishsticks...) & crustacean? Lobster, crab & shrimp look like something from a SciFi movie......run away! No option for mutton?? |
beef,..its whats for dinner.
personally I prefer a good burger over steak, but steak is good 2 |
About a three inch thick cut USDA Prime NY strip cooked medium rare.
Steak.
For me, I see all the others as "fillers", as in I can't eat beef everyday so I eat chicken, fish, pork throughout the week, just waiting to cook up a ribeye or a T-bone once or twice a week. I would eat more fish/seafood if I had the time to catch it or the money to buy it. |
I love a good fish n chips! Yep... more than steak.... flame on

I vote moo too, but 90% of the time I'll take a high-quality char-grilled steakburger over an actual steak. Too many good cheeseburgers to pass up.
As a beef producer, I would like to THANK YOU for your support!
You chicken and fish eaters can go to hell! AL |
Crustacean's are damn BUGS OF THE SEA !
Eatting lobster is like someone taking a bite out of a scorpion or big ol' spider to me. |
I like beef alot, but I eat chicken more because it is alot leaner and less expensive. I always cook up a chicken breast after lifting for some protein. No supplements for me.
Going for 5 of 5.... edited for color correction |

STEAK, ground, fried, grilled, roasted or BBQed.
You can't beat your fish, it will die. No sea monsters, those are for the cat. Pork just tastes better knowing Muslims hate it. Chicken holds you over 'til the steak arrives! |
