What's the best Joystick out there? Years ago I had a Wingman. Just a basic stick, but it was nice and tight. Had some nice resistance on it. Unfortunately  the hat switch broke and every stick I have tried sucks. They all feel way to loose and flimsy. Any ideas?

The A-10 Warthog HOTAS from Thrustmaster is very solid, but retails for around $500.

CH Products makes the best stuff, IMO:

Lately I've been using the Saitek (Madcatz) AV8R. Pretty good stick for the money, plus it kind of looks like a WW2-era stick:

Finally, I was at my brother-in-law's house last month, and I used his Logitech Extreme 3D Pro on "IL-2 Sturmovik," with very good results:

Thrustmaster HOTAS Cougar.   If you can find a set.   Short of getting actual sticks used in military grade flight simulators,

it's the best you can get,  or at least, it is AFTER you've done some mods to it. (Upgraded gimbals and Hall sensors installed

on X and Y axes, and the throttle.)
