The wife and I have decided to get my mother a display case for my stepfather's flag (he passed away last year). He served in the US Army in an Artillery Battery with 4th ID in Vietnam in 1967.
What would be the appropriate inscription for the name plate? Name, DOB, DOD? Unit info? US Army? FWIW I'm limited to two lines, 24 characters each, name will be 16 characters. Thanks. This is the type of case I'm talking about:
